Old Forge Metals Inc., manufacturers of OLD FORGE PEWTER, was founded 25 years ago by three employees of the well-known company, Oneida Silversmiths Ltd. What began in a garage evolved over the years into a thriving company, presently housed in a modern facility in Vernon, New York. Many of the original employees are still with the Company. OLD FORGE PEWTER products are sold primarily to two markets; promotional products (logoed merchandise), in the form of executive gifts, award and recognition items; and collegiate (emblematic) giftware. Promotional products are sold exclusively through advertising specialty/promotional products distributors, while collegiate giftware is sold directly to college stores and other collegiate retailers through independent reps. Our manufacturing processes consist of rubber mold casting and metal spinning. While we manufacture the majority of our products at our single factory location, some pieces are made to our specifications in Sheffield, England by some of the world's finest pewtersmiths. All of our products, whether produced in our facility or Sheffield, are made from the finest lead-free pewter available.
